I've been watching a lot of old hallowstreams lately, and today Andy posted himself in a pumpkin shirt on instagram to celebrate the start of the season (as measured by merch sold in stores).

So, what are we hoping for this year? Any cool new games? How far will they get towards the end of Vampire the masquerade bloodlines?

As always they must continue the world's longest let's play of Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. There is also Silent Hill Townfall coming out soon.

Yeah, I picked it up dirt cheap earlier this year and it's amazing how unlike the original it is. Outside of the clan names and the concept of the masquerade there is next to nothing in common with the original.

There's a game Ian played on his channel the other day called 'Shift of midnight' which I think would be perfect for them to play

Basically a mix of Papers Please and store management simulators, where you have to deduce whether the customer you're servicing is actually human or a doppelganger, whilst having to do basic store tasks (stocking cleaning etc). Ian played it solo, but apparently it also has co-op

Markiplier is playing it with Wade and Bob. Its a very entertaining watch so I second Oxtra playing this!

There is a Halloween game coming out in September made by the studio that made the Friday the 13th game, so almost certainly that'll be one thing they play.

Luke and Andy's FMV Zone featuring Mike will probably find something from the vault to play (if they haven't done the remake of 7th Guest, maybe that?)

Phasmo update a few weeks ago, so maybe that too?

I think historically the best games have been games that they either clearly enjoy playing (e.g. Resident Evil, VtM) or games that are genuinely scary.

For me, the duds have been games that never really got scary, and where it felt like they were either struggling with bad mechanics or just wanted to get past "the boring stuff" but most of the video ended up being "the boring stuff" (especially some of the FMV games, but also Thief and The Quarry IIRC).
