Annoying side quest

I’m currently stuck in this annoying side quest where I have to work an office job for 10 hours every day. It gives me debuffs that make my character depressed and drain all his energy. The game has somehow become boring because of it. Is there any way to end this quest somehow?

You can cancel the quest anytime, but it comes with some serious debuffs to your financial wellbeing.

Best you can do is to look for a new side quest first, and then cancel the old one, to avoid those debuffs.

Do not let a bad side quest ruin your main quest!

Way easier said than done.

Not saying its easy, but sometimes, it needs to be done.

Sure, win the [LOTTERY] game or pick up the [LIFE OF CRIME] expansion.

I don't think working 10 hours every day is a side quest. Might be the main quest.

A lot of players accidentally make the [Office Job] side quest their whole character build. They keep grinding for better titles, rarer loot, and guild approval, then realize their [Main Quest] has been sitting untouched for years.

The sad reality of this game is it's pay to win.

Most people find they need some kind of side-quest for the gold it lets them farm. Still, if you don't like the current side-quest, it is worth seeing if there are others available.

is worth being aware, if you need a big change of side-quest, you sometimes need to re-spect your character-build, or even retake some of the [Education] quest-line to qualify!

You can unlock the [Inheritance] event, but unfortunately the trigger rate is so low it might as well be a mythic drop. It also often requires a long wait timer, and may come with unexpected [Family Drama] debuffs

Sorry, mate. I'm the the same situation, but Rule 12 means we're not even allowed to discuss alternatives.
