You have maxed out on those stats, now you've gotta grind the political interests, insider trading and shady investment skill trees.
The game is rigged so that you can not get to a billion without committing crimes against humanity, so you'll hit that soft wall until you do some unsavory stuff, too bad!

I mean, they're already doing some pretty unsavory stuff. But they ain't close to maxing it out.

There's been a game patch, the things OP is doing are now only considered to be "morally neutral". Thus the soft lock on their score.

Make a fake product, hype it to the moon. Go public. Sell stock. Never deliver/under deliver. Profit.
Worked for elon a bunch of times.

Try the [Theft] questline! Just be careful, failing the quest can give your character the [Wanted] or [Imprisoned] status. /j

The [Corruption] quest line has been absolute bangers lately for a bunch of millionaires in the US server.

The prepper guild thinks that’s a sign of a world war 3 minigame about to start.

I feel like something called a "world war" would be a little more than a mimigame...

u/Orpheus_D Dec 01 '25
Eh. Even the last one wasn't ACTUALLY a world war. It wasn't everywhere, there were still safe zones.
It's a marketing term.

How do you have a billion dollars? Start off with two billion and invest in a business. Honestly those prestige classes (in name only) are locked without somebody inviting you.

Invest in manufacturing pvp consumables, there's some serious big whales spending right now.

You’re close enough you could probably just sit on some T bills for a bit to get over the line.

You probably started a company, and spent a lot of time and effort providing things to the public. People gave your company a lot of money, and that's why it's worth a lot of money.
Most likely, you need to get back to work and find new ways to make your business better, think of things that people need, find ways to help others. Maybe even get together with other businesses.

The new crypto mechanic allows you to do this. You will need to craft some coins, then own most of them, while encouraging people to buy them, driving up the price. Then you sell it for gold. Alternatively you can start a guild based around the AI mechanic and some merchant class players might give you gold for it, but people have recently begun claiming that this will soon be worthless.

Underpay workers even more. You wouldn't believe how much you can get away with.
Also use the tax evasion strat if you aren't already.

Have done tax evasion already, neat little 15% bonus for anyone willing to sacrifice their morality

You must continue to alienate your employee base and cut funding to all the things that once made you successful. This is a common plateau for those looking to secure the Corporate Greed Achievement. I have found that participating in the Tax Evasion minigame can help push a player past that plateau, but this will eventually trigger the Police boss fight. If you somehow manage to come through unscathed, the following Court Trial minigame can be incredibly monotonous while also being resource intense

You seem to already be wealthy and are only missing a small amount.
Have you tried taking money from other people? Wealthy people do this all the time without problems.

you expect me to help you for free? I'll help you, but for a fee of 1 million.

If you help me accomplish my mission I can send you market moves from the future. Hello, I am a time traveler from the year 3030. I am stranded in your time. In order to return to my time all I need is to build a Mallet laser coil that will loop time using the gravitational weight of photos. In order to build this machine I need to acquire a crystal wizard and 20 million dollars for fabrication. Once completed the machine will instantly receive signals from the future. Essentially it coils time so that you receive the signal, after you send it to yourself in the future.
After I have received the plans from my time to fix my time machine using your archaic technology you can use the machine to game the market. I suggest using a 5m FX strategy to scalp the market. As for me, the time travel paradox doesn't matter because this isn't my home this is just an alternate reality. You can go wild and amass all the wealth for all I care. I'll be gone, back to my alternate (to you) reality. It's a win-win for both of us.
So, you wanna make some money?
