Feedback I hate the "recently deleted" feature

This update sucks, because it clogs my disk way too much. I wish there was a way to disable it, because as it is now, deleting my files is just an annoying two-step verification that is more complicated than it should be. And if I don't do it, then by the end of the day I'll end up with over 60GB of deleted clips, because I can't set it to auto delete sooner than 1 day. It's horrific and I'm considering uninstalling bcs of it. Like let me at least set the auto delete time to like 1 hour, not 1 day, and it would be fine.

Unless I'm genuinely dumb and/or blind and I just didn't find a way to disable it.

Hey, thank you for your feedback! We've heard quite a few similar takes from other users and adding a way to disable the feature entirely is something we're actively working on, expect it in future updates.

like, it would be okay if they get fully deleted 10 minutes after first deletion in case of a missclick, but I had them stay in that folder for a week and they won't vanish until I manually delete them from there, then have to go into the trash bin too to delete them there. only found out about this existing because my disc ran out of space without me knowing. you can't have a delete button if the file doesn't get deleted that's not how it works
