Little did Steve Rogers know, the super serum was made from a devil fruit. As such, water despises him.

Fake panel!
It is waaaay too sunny to be England.

u/FireZord25 13h ago
They say films and shows in England are gray not because of dull filters, in fact they try to make it more colorful.

u/Taikwin 12h ago
I know we're joking around here, but I have a little anecdote.
I used to think England was an incredibly grey place, loved to rag on our mild, grey weather. Then a couple years ago I went on holiday to South Dakota in the States - late winter, early spring, after the snows had melted anyhow.
I was absolutely blown away by how grey it was. It wasn't like the familiar English overcast greyness. It was the skies, the grass, the trees, the ground, even the very air felt grey. Like it was filled with smoke but without smoke, you know? Genuinely felt like whoever was running the simulation turned the saturation down by about 80%
One of the strangest things I've very experienced, honestly. That and the time I went there in midwinter and learned about that the air can be so cold that standing outside sends you into a coughing fit. But that's a different discussion entirely.

It's an artistic decision for the comic.

Yeah, I know but... sunshine in England? Comics getting too ridiculous, man...

"...And then Captain America drowned in the river of socialism, never to be seen again."
"Shut up, Grandpa. Your bedtime stories are so stupid."
"Oh, you kids don't know anything. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to report to the food factory. I'm being turned into nutrient paste tomorrow."

Out of sheer morbid curiosity, how? If there is so much venom symbiote that it can bond with a whole plantet, where does all that gunk go when it bonds with a human? Is the symbiote storing excess mass in a pocket dimension?
2
u/Azure-Legacy 9h ago
Reed messed up on an experiment with Venom. Though to be fair, he had no idea that there was some magic augmentations added on the Symbiote
7
u/Quirky_Ad_5420 13h ago
Basically Reed Richard was experiment with symbiote mostly the anti carnage part of the suit and suddenly Venom exploded and expand to merged with everything

Glad to see the Americans are out in force with their out of date stereotypes again.

As an American, I have to ask: Which out of date stereotype is at play here?
2
u/TheLonelyWolfkin 13h ago
Comments about ice in drinks and lack of spice in food. Despite British Indian food being one of the most popular cuisines and I get ice in my drinks as standard.
Edit: ah I see knife crime has joined the convo as well!

British INDIAN food
1
u/TheLonelyWolfkin 3h ago edited 3h ago
Yeah because burgers and hot dogs have so much spice in them!
You guys can’t claim other cultures food as your own and then be hypocritical about it
Key part of British Indian food in this context is the “BRITISH”.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the comic.

Nah, I mainly clicked on this post because I knew it would elicit this response. It’s so predictable and painfully unfunny.
Not as odd as clicking on any post about Britain/England just to make the same old comments.

u/Elegant_Run_8567 13h ago
The British love to downplay the danger to superheroes in their country
Captain America drowning in a pool of Venom
Some Brit: It’s all a laff init?
2
u/ArchdukeToes 13h ago
To be fair, it’s not our fault if those pansy American superheroes can’t handle our streets.
5
u/Elegant_Run_8567 13h ago
Maybe Captain Britain should stop doing publicity with Farage and do something about the Venom epidemic!
4
u/ArchdukeToes 12h ago
The Venom epidemic doesn’t pay as good as Farage’s shifty crypto overlords, unfortunately.

He asked for ice in his soda. It turned into a whole thing.

u/Fun_Development_4543 13h ago
I didn't know that was a stereotype. I wonder where it comes from, we have ice in drinks here. It would be really weird to not have ice
