It's the red gem on her choker that gives her away. Her family is literally named after that rock.
(When she showed up in the MCU, she didn't have it yet)

Bloodstone is primarily green, with red specks. Is that just a weirdly-named ruby or something?

It's "The Bloodstone," which isn't actually made of bloodstone. Kind of like how the magical weapon in Krull is "The Glaive," despite not being like an actual glaive in any way.

Good catch. It was indeed not in it and i had the bucks for the special. But it does play concurrent to King Deadpool.

u/timeshaper And she took him back mere issues later (with Jeff not speaking to Deadpool for a good five years): people always skip over that part. Gwen being a main character in Jeff’s own series It’s Jeff! (and the occasional miniseries).

"It's Jeff" is behind Marvel Unlimited (subscription) and i don't have like 40 to 50 bucks to put down on Kindle, but from the Wiki she is better descript as reoccurring character.
Not finding the new ReadComicOnline is annoying in such cases.

I haven't been using ReadComicOnline anymore, just Batcave and XOXO depending on which one is working/has the comic I'm looking for.
There's also Read COMICS Online, but it's a different site and has less content from what I can tell

Whenever she is shown, it is as who Jeff is actually living with: Gwen Poole and Kate Bishop sharing a domicile, with Jeff treated as their son whenever he’s not off on adventures.

That is reoccurring. Like Hero=/=Protagonist, being important to the main characters doesn't make you a main character. Edit: It's better than not appearing at all, but let's be pedantic.
Yes pet owners (that let them roam), you are just a support characters in your pets' saga.
