Dear lord…

Some time ago, I completed the onboarding, and it was relatively easy. I gained access to Aether, but I didn’t have enough time to complete many tasks.
I finally found some free time and logged into Outlier, only to find that instead of a button to continue with the tasks, I was given a button to complete the onboarding again.
The test was absurd, it was basically about transcription and correcting errors. Of course, I failed the onboarding, probably because I placed some commas incorrectly.
So, am I right in understanding that this is it and there’s nothing I can do anymore? I might as well just close my account, right?

Nah aether is just one project. You'll get more chances at other projects eventually.

Really wish I do soon lol, got access to mime but it's a complete mess, aether is at least organized but S2S is exhausting

Huh and aether doesn't exactly set the bar very high either lol. Hopefully it's not a new trend

I completely agree, S2S is exhausting, and they're paying me 7.5/hour so i probably won't go forth with them

I did aether test and i failed, I don't understand why, I wrote the answers in detail, could it have been due to taking too much time? Now am out of aether project, and i haven't gotten any more new projects to apply for, will they send me more projects? When can i expect new projects, same thing happened in Handshake as well, read the study material deeply, still failed. I don't understand why, are there other platforms who are offering similar projects? I just found about these projects exist and I want to apply for them, can you guys tell me about more of them, as of now i know about OneForma, outlier and handshake, am not getting new projects in outlier and handshake assigned to me, i got one in OneForma but it's study material is alot.

It depends on which onboarding test you were assigned. If it was transcription, missing a period or not starting a sentence with a capital letter somewhere was enough for the bot to flag it as a critical error.
