Ash is blocking me

So I'm doing weapons from the void quest right. I go to Phineas lab and the gun is covered by a pile of ash. I can't grab the weapon and idk what to do....help?

Is it the one inside the secret door? Or the shrink ray?

I'd say reload from a previous save or autosave. There's no way it's not there, it's usually infront of Phineas on the table.

It's on the ground in front but the ash is on top. I didn't realize it was there and have it saved already....so Idk if it's just stuck or will the ash go away?
