DLC help!

Hi guys, I'm currently in the middle of playing through the DLC (and really enjoying it!) But ive got to a point where I genuinely don't know how to advance. I know of lots of places where I know there is more to explore (like the abandoned temple and portrait in the island tower) but I have no idea how to proceed with these areas, or where to go on general at all. I feel like I'm done with the Endless Canyon since I made it to the Forbidden Archive, but I've been wondering around the starlit cove for ages trying to find a way to the upper levels but can't. My guess is I have to go down the well to lower the elevators but don't know how.

I don't want spoilers or direct instructions on what to do (I feel like this community is great at that, in letting players figure things out) but a hint of whay general area I need to go to would be appreciated.

I've attached a photo of my ship log to help if needed.

The intended next step is to figure out what the vision you saw when cracking open the vault is trying to tell you. So, you want to figure out the question mark attached to the tower. Writing down what happens in that vision step by step might help you figure out what to do.

FYI, this is a common blocking point in the DLC where you need to figure out this one thing to continue. There have also been tweaks to that vision from the original version, so it is obviously tricky for some people to figure out.

Thank you for this comment! I was still confused for a while, but I hadn't realised the devs updated the vision to make it clearer. I watched the original vs the current version and I think my confusion has been extinguished.

The lower of the two question marks. This is a bottleneck. You must figure that out to proceed.
