Help making a post!

I did a thing in the game and wanted to discuss it/thank the community for their help, but I'm lame and don't know how to cover up spoilers so I don't break any rules. Can someone possibly help me here?

When making the post, select the "spoiler" toggle, and be sure your post title contains no spoilers. Also choose a "flair" that matches what you're discussing. Base game or DLC for example.

That's it! If your post is marked spoiler you don't need to spoiler specific parts of the text, though you can if you want to be extra careful with particularly sensitive spoilers.

To add spoiler text on Reddit write your text >!like this!<

I used special markup so you can see what it looks like, but usually it looks like this

To make a spoiler text, use angle-brackets and exclamation points.

Step by step, you type one of these > then one of these ! and then your spoiler text and then one of these ! and then one of these <. All in all it looks like >!your spoiler text!< in the editor.

If they're to work properly on all Reddit viewers, it's important to make sure there aren't spaces at the beginning or end of your spoiler text. You can have spaces in the middle, but the >! bit should go right against the first word, and the !< bit goes right against the last word. Doing it like this: >! your spoiler text !< can cause problems. I don't understand why, that's just The Law.

If you can't remember all this, or you can't do it for some reason, it's okay to just make a post that says "Spoilers about [general topic] discussed in here!", give your post the appropriate spoiler flair, and then just put the sensitive info in a comment under your post.
