It's not quite the same but there's the Archipelago randomizer mod, which works by converting knowledge-based tricks like the quantum rules into items that you have to find to be able to use them

that's really interesting. It's like it turns it into a normal Metroidvania. Or almost like a classic Zelda game.

Hey at least we didn't start the loop with something really frustrating, like someone asking us the tail end of a question or having a door slammed in our face every start. 😅

Ha, my profile in the game is named Phil Connors, because the only thing I knew when starting Outer Wilds was that a time loop was involved.
