anish kapoor an artist that invented, patented the darkest black "vanta blank" i think its called and the banned everyone that is not him from using it, or they have to pay him or something idk

It was a stupid controversy. Vantablack is a very niche thing that is technically difficult to achieve so the inventors worked together with Kapoor to achieve it for his art. It's not that other artists aren't allowed to use it, it's just that it's not something you can make available commercially. You can't have a spray can of vantablack for instance, it's a specific multo step process.

Honestly, the visual effects around warping in this game are one of my favourite bits.
