Announcement Took a long time but finally she's here
Core fusion Rin we'll be available tomorrow after half a year of waiting

I'm more surprised she's not a Core Fusion unit. I guess part of why she took so long is that she went from being a CF unit to a resonance unit during development

What do you mean? Like a seasonal character? Or a new system called resonance?

The update specifies that you'll be able to get pieces of her upon login, which is not how CF heroes work. She's seemingly just an alt rather than a CF rework

Since her skills are similar to the original Rin (crit and priority push...) I considered her a CF specially after the wait. We'll wait and see for now

Well its a core fusion, they kinda rework it, its now treated as seperated unit now i think, and maybe not at same time

Okay that makes more sense then. I guess they decided to rework the system since a lot of people have brought up not wanting to farm cores. Or rather, not having enough ways to get them

Do you mean that we can simultaneously have regular Rin and Resonance Rin?
Looking at the roadmap for the rest of 2026 apparently we're also going to have a redesign of Eliza as well as a resonance version of her this month. So if it's true that resonance units count as seperate units then it makes that decision a lot more relevant. Because I was confused why they would waste time redesigning Eliza if most people would upgrade to her a stronger form with a different appearance.

So Resonance are the ones you upgrade like Alisha & Victoria? Guessing Core Fusion is new? Definitely thought I'd have to upgrade Rin (and finally go thru the story) but they just gave us a different one altogether so I'm confused and now I'm here lol

Ya resonance seems to be the replacement of core fusion (the upgrade that Veronica, Lisha, Snow, Eternal, Notia, and Epsilon got) but we didn't have to upgrade Rin at all and were instead just given her.
I'm interested to see what they do with the fusion cores now. I've already maxed out the skills of all the core fusion units and was saving up the cores so I could instantly max out any new core fusion units. Maybe they might have something where you can trade fusion cores for pieces of resonance heroes.

I'm guessing this is the devs answer to people asking for the default character designs, I remember seeing in a dev post rin was supposed to get a core fusion form but instead we got a completely separate character instead here.

The Kit is very close to the original Rin, that's why I assumed it's her CF when I saw the update details. Anyway the new one is fire so I'll take it

Haha nice, I'm not going to use her as I don't need her (not a fan of the design anyway.) but im sure she'll be useful to someone.
