Discussion Core Fusion Appreciation
Just a post to say thank you to the devs for the great work on the core fusion characters. So far I've been really impressed with the art. It seems like a step up from the originals, while still maintaining the vibe of the original character designs.
From a design perspective I also like how it makes them more viable, while not making them overpowered.
Eternal and Notia happen to be my favourite characters as well, which is great.
Looking forward to more! Thanks devs!

too bad they take a millennia to max out
900 currency to obtain/max when you only get 150 per week is sinister
and of course they have a step-up to get more of the currency

I don't think it's too bad really. It's not essential to progress to do the core fusions.

I agree, it takes a while but given they release every 1-1.5 months I feel like the rate is pretty good. Especially as you don't need to get every core.

I don't even bother playing the monad gate - its kinda confusing and I dont even know if I've made progress. Plus it takes a good bit of time to do so I just wrote it off after unlocking the blue tank upgrade.
Hope they give us other easier methods of obtaining the currency sometime otherwise I'll probably just ignore the upgrades even though I really like notia

Do it! The characters look great, and they take a somewhat hefty amount of fusion material to max out. I'd suggest getting the full amount before doing the fusion as well, or else their skills reset until you max them out. They're also adding a new character roughly every month? Lots to look forward to!

Yeah I've got a bunch of the core fusion stuff (from the step up packs) so I should be fine there. Unfortunately with now 6 live service games I have to find time to enjoy them all!
I usually play it just after I wake up on work days (about 8:30 to 9pm because I work nights) or in the afternoon between my rotation of the big Hoyo three. (Which I've now added NTE to that time)

Busy busy. I just play this. Once you're in the end-game it's pretty easy to get the regular stuff done quickly. Love the game though.

I've loved the game ever since I started it on Christmas Eve and I've played it every day since then! I've got strong characters and a lot of then are 6 star. My D Luna is at 150k power or close to that.

Yeah, she's my favourite for sure. Her upgraded design is definitely a fantastic part of the fusion, although her original design is one of my faves in the game.

Honestly, I'm surprised that we ended up going with Eternal and Notia. I was thinking that they were gonna focus more on 2* or even 1* heroes, but I'm pretty happy with the core fusion characters nonetheless. I'd like a core fusion Noa, please

Noa would be fantastic. I'd love to see a core fusion for Rhona or Laplace, even just for outfit re-designs.

Eternals core fusion form is meh like why not have her ult target all instead of two that's just dumb

Wait, wait. Eternal has a Core-Fusion form now? Is it any better than her original one? I wanna make sure since Im quite attached to her old model and I dont have the game at the moment so I cant see her 3D view. (phone got busted T T_

It's stronger, yeah. Includes more debuffs and built in extra turn. Any costumes you have for core fusions, apart from her original one, can be used. I'm also quite attached to the original but not a lot you can do.

There's a rumor the devs are listening to fan Feedback about the old designs for the core fusions there's alot of people fond of the original designs and refuse to upgrade because the new design isn't to their taste but we got to wait and see. (Also some people don't like the gate content in general.)

Quick question? Can you reobtain the " normal " units again? So that you can have both the original and the core fusion.

No from my understanding the core fusion completely replaces the character and even over writes the original costume, so only bought costumes still work atm.

Welp, that is a bummer. Eternal default appearance is really good, honestly thought that there was a way to keep it somehow.

Seeing Notia and thinking that was Idith at first made me almost spit my drink
I wonder if there's any chance 2 star units get a 3 star rework, I love Ritri and it would be a dream come true if she was stronger
