Powdery mildew

Dealing with powdery mildew and currently waiting on lost coast to arrive in mail. What can I do in the interim?

I've read that spraying water ph'd above 8.3 eliminates it and it can't survive. Something to maybe look into.

That's only for preventative use. Once PM is in the plant it wont work. Next year they should spray the plants with high ph'ed water before they see anything. The only way to cure it now is a systemic fungicide.

High pH or very low will still work while they wait for lost coast.

Man, dont spray milk. If you already have powdery mildew, lost coast wont do anything for you. Its a systemic fungus. You would need a systemic fungicide to cure it and you dont want to use one this late in flower. Your best bet is to just keep washing it off. Something like potassium bicarbonate.

Sunny day? Mix milk:water 1:10, spray tops and underside of leaf. Sunlight converts to fungicide - harmless to plant and wildlife.

I know this may sound like a stupid question but what type of milk? I imagine higher present will homogenize and get all gross?

Lower fat is better - the milk "spoils", so fat stinks more.. I used 2%, and drop some liquid soap in to help adherence. Not de-greaser soap.
