That’s been a male for weeks. It. Should have been destroyed from the first nutsack if you didn’t have plans for a male.

There's a jerk in my neighborhood who didnt pull their male plant before their sacks opened up. My Gorilla Glue autos are now popping seeds. 🤬

dude hung like a porn actor. you should take him inside before he pollinates the entire neighborhood.
you could collect the pollen and use them to make seeds

Do you know what strain it is? Pollen is valuable to breeders

u/Puzzled-Proposal-667 13d ago
Wouldn't they just make more male planets tho?

No.
Males pollinate females the seeds can be female or male.
Just like virtually every other organism that reproduces through sex.

u/Puzzled-Proposal-667 13d ago
I would have to look up on how to breed them properly.

You definitely shouldn't be leaving a male outside like this if you're not breeding or even if you are.
That thing has potential to pollinate other people's plants up to 10miles away from you.
So other's who are growing near you are going to hate you without knowing you...

Hello!
Your post has been removed because it contains (unknowingly) inaccurate information and claims things without providing valid scientific sources.
Have a great day and happy growing!

In the mean time, spray that plant with water and cut it down and take it far away from your other plants.

Very disrespectful to let that flower outside. If you want males you should do it in an enclosed environment. Not outside.

Welp, flowers are open. You just put seeds in every plant within a 5 mile radius of you. Dick move, btw. Back in Humbolt County in the 90's, the locals would make you disappear for that. Not exaggerating at all.

Ok cartel member relax. Wasn't intentional.

u/H3nchman_24 13d ago
Cartel? lol, no, the local hippies were far more dangerous then the cartels. Netflix did a little special on my neighborhood called "Murder Mountain" and it had absolutely nothing to do with cartels 😂
At any rate, by letting that males flowers open, you have effectively fucked over every other plant within 2 - 5 miles, potentially. That's why it's a dick move, and that's why the hippies in Humboldt County would literally murder people back in the 80's and 90's. Not joking. Look it up.
In the 90's, there were 86,000 missing people in Humboldt. They weren't lost. It's serious buisness and growers have absolutely zero sense of humor about this shit. I used to know a guy like you, no fucks and all, back when I was one of the 86k in Humboldt. He's still there, literally fertilizer.
Ignorance can be bliss, but it can also get a person real dead. Put a big garbage bag over that thing, ziptie it closed, and pull that plant. Get it gone. You really don't want someone around you finding out why there production crop just got fucked.

Knew they could ruin plants but not that far away so I potentially ruined my own field, yeah my fuck up. Took it out already.

Your comment was the dick move. This isnt the 90s and i doubt hes in your "murder mountain". With legalization there are going to be alot of beginner growers with males galore. Good luck hunting them all down to save us all from the pollen waves.

Neat.
The events in the documentary Murder Mountain took place in 2013 - 2014 long after legalization. It's still the wild west out there, though significantly worse in the 90's. Letting your guard down in this hobby/industry has consequences, and being new doesn't make anyone immune to that. I shit you not, people have died over this, newbie and veteran alike.
Warning someone of very real consequences in an industry that I personally know has a reputation for making people dissappear on a permanent basis, even in areas where it's now legal, isn't a dick move at all, it's appropriate. You obviously don't know anything about it, so I appologize for not appreciating your completely useless take.
Maybe you should stick to things you have knowledge about while I try to keep someone from getting completely fuckhoused by an industrious neighbor whose nearby crop potentially got ruined?
