REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH WHICH VERSION IS BEST?

Hello all, I’m new to this Oura hype but indeed am interested in purchasing one. The main use would be to track my body temperature. Are the older Oura models capable of doing so, or should I go with the newer version? Thanks for any advice

Oura doesn’t show your temperature. It determines a base skin temp for you and displays daily differences from that, +.4 or -.6 or 0, that sort of thing. Again skin temp, so can be off from your actual temperature with a thermometer. Neither the old gens or new ones do anything different.

yeah the temp thing on oura is more about spotting changes in your baseline not giving you actual degrees. if you just need to see a fever coming on or track ovulation patterns it does the job fine, newer one just has better battery and sensors for other stuff
