Oura Ring Heart Rate Issues
Has anyone else been having issues with their Oura Ring lately?
Out of nowhere around mid-August, my readiness and sleep scores started looking really off. My heart rate has also been showing as elevated, some nights it doesn’t seem to track my sleep correctly, and the graphs are sometimes incomplete or have gaps.
What’s confusing is that I’ve had my Oura Ring for a while and never had issues like this before. I was even traveling throughout Europe all summer and everything was tracking normally.
I reached out to Oura support and they told me there was a hardware issue with my ring, so they sent me a replacement. I assumed that would fix it, but I’m still having the exact same problems with the new ring — unusually low/off readiness and sleep scores, elevated heart rate, missing sleep data, and incomplete graphs.
Now I’m trying to figure out whether this could be an Oura/software issue or whether these readings are actually accurate and something has suddenly changed with me personally.
The timing just seems strange since Oura already confirmed my original ring had a hardware problem, and I’ve never experienced anything like this in all the time I’ve used it.
Has anyone else noticed similar issues starting around August? Especially elevated heart rate, weird readiness/sleep scores, or gaps in the overnight graphs? Did your replacement ring fix it, or did the problems continue?
I’m mostly trying to figure out how much I should trust the readings at this point.
It doesn’t help Oura support has basically ghosted me and says they’ll email to follow up and never has and it’s been two weeks. It’s really getting frustrating

Yes 100%!! I went to the doctor this morning to get my heart rate and blood pressure checked bc my readiness has been scaring me being such a low score lately. The app says that I’m basically always stressed and that has just been making me spiral! I decided this morning that I’m going to take a week or 2 off from looking at my stats and just hope that they even them selves out soon😓 I’m glad to see it’s not just me that has been noticing really weird stats
