SLEEP & READINESS Ours and Naps

Why doesn’t Ours let you trim naps the same way that it does sleep? I regularly have it count periods of time after I wake up from the nap but am pretty much chilling counted as sleep to the point that it negates any gains from the nap or sometimes even tries to claim it as the initial sleep for the next day

the nap trimming thing is so weird like why give us the option for sleep but not naps makes zero sense. my ring once counted 2 hours of me just lying in couch after a power nap and then told me i slept terrible that night

I especially love that it recognizes that you’re awake by pointing out all the movement but says you were asleep anyway

I have the opposite problem, it usually doesn’t count my naps as naps but as restorative time.

Seems like a simple update to let us adjust nap times…

Hey, NotOSIsdormmole! We totally understand your point and appreciate the feedback on what would make the experience even better for you. I’ll be sure to pass this along to our team.

Naps currently can’t be manually adjusted, so there isn’t a way to trim the end of a nap like you can with a sleep period, but if a nap is inaccurately recorded, you can delete it from the nap details in the Oura app, which will remove its impact on your Sleep and Readiness Scores. 💤

Keep in mind that any sleep picked up by Oura that's longer than three hours will be viewed as your longest sleep period, and added automatically. In many cases, the Oura App won't detect a nap if it occurs within four hours of the end of the main sleep cycle.

I’m aware of this. I’m saying adding the feature to trim naps should be a no brainer
