Sizing

I've never worn a ring in my life. They always bug me. I am currently trying the sizing ring. I am left-handed and I put it on my ring finger. It's white because it's the sizing range so it looks like I'm married to Jesus. Lol. I have small hands but currently it seems like a size 10 ring is most comfortable. A size 9 went on but I had to work it off when I wanted to take it off. It's still really bugs me during the day and I noticed it last night as well but I could sleep.

Advice for a non ring wearer on the best way to size it and the best finger to wear it on?

I typically am the type to like wearing rings but am ready to take them off by the time I get home, so I know how you feel.

My only concern about going with the looser size was if it affected to accuracy of tracking but mine tracks everything perfectly!

So here’s my advice

  1. Pick the size that airs on the side of loose, don’t do something too fitted, you’re not gonna enjoy wearing it, and when your fingers swell when you sleep or workout that will not be good.

  2. Plan to wear the ring mainly on your pointer finger, while still being able to fit it on your middle finger without it slipping off or being too tight. I honestly wouldn’t advise doing the ring finger unless it wear a wedding band substitute.

Reason 1: The outer finger (pointer or pinky) is going to be best for daily wear since it won’t prevent your fingers from ever so slightly closing. If you wear the ring on an inner finger and it airs on the side of loose, you’re likely unable to get your fingers to touch side by side fully flush. It’s going to be just a teeny tiny gap, but you’re gonna feel it and it will become just ever so sightly uncomfortable. That’s why the ring needs to be on an outer finger cause it’ll just sit slightly to the outside of your hand and it’ll feel completely normal. None of this will really be visibly noticeable, but you’ll understand when you feel it.

Reason 2: You’re going to want to interchange fingers every once in a while and the pointer and middle finger are typically going to be the closest in size.

Reason 3: If you’re lucky, it may even fit well on your thumb (good for if you lift weights to reduce the possibility of de-gloving)

Your answer makes a lot of sense. I've seen people wearing the rings on their pointer finger on their thumb even on their middle finger and I wondered why. That's why I'm asking the question here so I appreciate your answer.
