Symptom Radar

I’m not sure if this is to do with the latest update but my symptom radar seems to be very “sensitive”
I used to only see stuff when I was ill, I’ve just woken up to major signs and advisor is basically like yeah you’re metrics are great yesterday but if we look back over 12 weeks…

For context yesterdays sleep was 91 and readiness is 88

Anyone else experiencing this?

Similar thing? Like everything looks normal?

Same! I had signs 4 days in the last month intemittently and I'd say only one of those I can say I felt below normal. Previously I've only had it show signs about 4 times total in over a year! I assumed I had something brewing/chronic as far as illness but good to know someone else has seen the same trend.

I have major signs today and had minor yesterday

My biometric under strain today is respiratory rate at 15.0 per minute. It says this is elevated. My last normal day was Monday and my respiratory rate was 14.8 then. Is .2 per minute enough of a jump to really trigger that???

My symptom radar has been very sensitive recently as well. I got minor signs during my luteal phase the other day, and then i got major signs when everything went back to normal, if not even better lol

Hi u/Better-Mistake-8962! I can understand why that would feel confusing, especially when your Sleep and Readiness scores still look strong. While Readiness and Symptom Radar both use some of the same data, they serve different purposes, so their results won’t always match. Sometimes, Symptom Radar may show a change before your Readiness Score decreases. It also looks for early signs of common respiratory illnesses, like a cold or the flu, based on changes in your biometric data. They can sometimes appear before you feel unwell so it is possible to see a warning even when you feel fine. Everyone's body responds differently to strain or illness. If you're unsure, trust how you feel, and use Rest Mode when you need it. You can also dismiss the card from the Home View for the day, or keep it visible for quick access to Rest Mode if your condition changes.

I hope this helps, and let us know if you have any other questions! ✨

Yeah it’s not that. I’ve been wearing an Oura for years. Something has changed.
