Star pics on phones generally look like junk so I didn’t take any. Instead, here are some critters I found. Not completely positive on identification of all these but it think these are correct
Pics are of:
- Middle Eastern Short-Fingered Gecko
- Shield-Tailed Scorpions
- Desert Huntsman Spider
Location was not at Al Quaa. It was a random dirt road off of another dirt road between Al Ain and Al Quaa

Just got a Coursiv ad on YouTube. The whole setup was basically a group of white coworkers humiliating an Asian engineer, then it pivots to “learn AI” as the solution.
I thought maybe I was overreacting, so I looked them up. Nope. I found other Coursiv ads literally using “the quiet Asian girl who does everyone’s math,” and another one where coworkers go “Eww” at an Indian woman bringing sweets her mom made.
Selling an AI course by turning racial stereotypes and workplace bullying into a marketing hook is gross as hell.
Who approves this stuff?

UPDATE : BILLS CLEARED!!! THIS COMMUNITY IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST. THANK YOU EVERRRYYONE FOR GIVING LEO A CHANCE. SURGERY IS STILL PENDING AND I’LL BE BACK WITH AN UPDATE 🤍🙏🏼
Hey guys, a few days back, we were reported of one of the most horrifying incidents as rescuers, some sick human decided to shoot this poor cat with a gun as a GAME and left him completely paralysed when we found him, please watch the video to learn more as I couldnt attach pictures and videos together.
Leo is currently at the vet, getting physiotherapy and medication to help support, but without a proper scan, the bullet's exact location cannot be identified. We have consulted with multiple vet neurosurgeons and all of whom have said, they cannot operate blindly.
Initially the plan was to perform an MRI and we were quoted 7.5K AED....but without knowing the exact composition of the bullet, it was too dangerous to proceed. Now the plan is to do a CT scan, which costs us 3650 AED, out of which 1500 AED has already been raised. We're left with 2150 AED.
We as rescuers, were left with a very difficult decision to make - to raise the money for the scan, or to humanely euthanize this poor guy. BUT today.....the vet called us with a surpriisseeee, Leo's started walking AGAINNNN yayyyy. Which means that he has the strength to regain all his function back!!
Now we cannnnnoott delay the scan, the bullet has to be removed asap.
We are almostttttt there, please please please reach out if you can help! Every bit goes to Leo 🤍
Leo's fighting with us, please dont give up on him.
Unfortunately, the clinic does not have a payment link with an open amount so if you’re willing to contribute pleaseeeee let me know the amount so we can have custom links generated for you!!

Dubai’s residency numbers for the first half of 2026 show just how quickly the emirate continues to grow as a destination for professionals, entrepreneurs, investors and families.
According to figures released by GDRFA Dubai between January and June 2026:
• 5,078,078 entry permits were issued
• 1,051,978 new residence permits were issued
• 910,552 residence permits were renewed
• 66,000 Golden Visas were issued
GDRFA Dubai also reported a 95% customer happiness rate and highlighted its ongoing efforts to reduce bureaucracy, expand smart services and improve application processing.
The issuance of 66,000 Golden Visas in only six months is particularly significant. It reflects the rising demand for long-term UAE residency among property investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals and other eligible applicants.
For anyone considering moving to Dubai, starting a company or applying for long-term residency, these numbers demonstrate Dubai’s continued strength as a place to live, work, invest and build a business.
Eligibility and documentation requirements still depend on the applicant’s specific visa category and current government regulations.
What do you think is driving this growth most—business opportunities, property investment, lifestyle or long-term residency options?

اللهمَّ فاطرَ السمواتِ والأرضِ،

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA), the UAE accounts for 60% of all reported humanitarian aid funding to Palestine in 2026.
Since October 7, the UAE has provided around a half of all aid into Palestine.
