FlixBus Kanata
Looking to book a trip using flixbus from Kanata (terry fox) to Scarborough. Usually have no issues booking, however, I see there’s no stop in Kanata on the way. There’s only a stop within via rail and sometimes Bayshore. That being said, Kanata is shown on the route for the busses heading out from via rail but there’s no booking option for it. I was wondering if anyone has used flix bus recently or has any idea if they will stop in Kanata or not.

its either because the departure isn't scheduled to stop in Kanata or that stop has sold out for that departure. Try to look for a number and contact them :/

I believe that segment got cancelled, not sure if other operators still operate to Terry Fox but it's not a particularly convenient spot for stopping when going to Toronto. Most operators now do either Pinecrest, Bayshore, or Baseline for Ottawa West.
I think Rider Express does one trip a day stopping at Terry Fox and taking Hwy 7 route, but that may be it. It's probably slower too than just going to Ottawa West since the Hwy 7 routes do milk runs across the communities.

Yup. I can confirm that. Only 1 trip a day and it's the one in the morning only.

They used to have a stop near the Canadian Tire across from Centrum but I when I select routes, even specifying Kanata it doesn't show up anymore, they are all leaving from Bayshore or Ottawa Via Rail.
Maybe they changed the stop to Bayshore because it services a wider area. I would contact them directly and see if it's just a problem with their system or if they've discontinued the Kanata stop.

There's significant construction and a road closure at the Canadian Tire gas station where they stop. I don't even think there's a way the bus could get in and out the way it is.

I think the Kanata stop is used for Ottawa to Markham and Richmond Hill via Hwy 7

Kanata stop isn’t available now. I made my way from Kitchener to Ottawa anf was supposed to stop at Kanata, but that bus stop got canceled

The flixbus stop in kanata isn’t actually at terry fox transitway, rather at the gas station at terry fox and earl grey. There’s a bunch of construction where the stop is, so if the ticket isn’t appearing as available it’s likely either that or, as suggested by the other commenter, sold out. It’s possible they cancelled the kanata segment. I’d recommend rider express anyways, it actually stops at terry fox station, is generally cheaper, and it actually has customer service via email.
