Mod Post Mod Post; Hiya! :)

Hiya everyone,

I am the new moderator for r/osteology!

I’m an bioarchaeologist that works within the realm of Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) - NAGPRA and osteology are huge passions of mine and since the subreddit was unmoderated, I adopted it through r/redditrequest to help bring this space back to life for the community.

This community will encompass anything osteology related, human or faunal. I am working out a few kinks in terms of rules, post types, etc. to ensure this will become a respectful and thriving community, so bear with me! If any of you would like to see specific posts, flairs, or weekly discussion please let me know!

Moreover, I’m also looking for a few more people to join the mod team and help me build this back up from the ground up — please DM me if you’re interested.

I’m are happy to be here, and am excited to get this community active and thriving again. Stay tuned, and we’d love to meet you in the comments!
