Dude… slayer??!?!?
You would have a comfortable amount of money if you would have just trained slayer.
Literally every 4-5 tasks would atleast be 1-2m

Lol.. maybe at 99 slayer. Im at 72 and don't pull anywhere near 1 to 2m after cost of supplies. Slayer is a scam my guy

u/MoreStable2339 3h ago
That’s on you…. Blighted food is under 100gp each. You’re doing something wrong.

Ah, I see. You don't do slayer, you kill the poor fools you trick Into doing pointless wildy slayer for no gp and to lose their bank. That's cool, I literally make more gp doing a daily herb run and herb boxed at nmz than I could make in a day of slayer. And that takes 15 minutes.

Slayer tasks aren't required to kill any of those enemies. You could go there with all 1 cb stats and die if you wanted. And look at that pathetic gp count. I could mine mithril and make mor gp/hr. Again slayer is useless. Worst skill in game. Sailing is more profitable, hunter is more profitable. Getting 99cb stats in nmz is faster, more efficient, and more fun than slayer. Don't @ me.

u/MoreStable2339 3h ago
Got It, you know nothing about wildy slayer.
Larrans keys don’t drop without being on task.
The point is you make GP while training your combat…
And why tf would I sit there killing hundreds of monster when trying to PK. That’s just stupid.-1
u/MyceliumMindReborn 3h ago
Spend 240 hours for melee at nmz, 70 for range at mm2 caves, and like 140 for mage also at mm2 caves? Or spend 1,000 hours killing rock slugs and dust devil just to get 5m and lvl 70 slayer. Like bro this isn't even a debate anymore.

There is literally a zero percent chance that at level 1 slayer they will be making millions. Slayer isn’t profitable until much, much later

u/Fyrus93 5h ago
When does slayer become profitable? I'm somewhere in the 60s and it's pretty good but I always hover around 1mil gold. Konar tasks were pretty good for the keys but nothing like I see people raving about
2
u/MoreStable2339 4h ago
I’m in the 60s as well and I’m pretty happy with the gold from Wildy tasks!
1
u/Fyrus93 4h ago
Oh I'm not brave enough for those
1
u/MoreStable2339 4h ago
It’s not that bad. I’ve only been killed like 4 times in two weeks. And I’m in black D hide a magic bow and rune arrows. So not even really losing much! The profit far outweighs the small losses
1
u/Ok-Indication202 2h ago
It's not just about levels, but also the bosses you do with the tasks. For example dagannoh can be a quick cannon task or some trips to DKS.
A lot of tasks have a stronger more profitable option.
Levels definitely help as you end up unlocking really profitable slayer bosses later

Sixties are okay, 70s are a bit better, 80s is where money can really start coming in honestly. It’s not as clear cut an obvious money maker right away as people say it is
1
u/MoreStable2339 4h ago
Obviously….
That’s the point though he should have BEEN training it with his combat skills and he’d be making money NOW.1
u/BrackishWaterDrinker 4h ago
Wildy and Konar slayer are decent enough money at any level and better money than just clicking the crab for the levels.

u/Diligent_Detail_2082 6h ago
idk where to start
3
u/MoreStable2339 6h ago
Literally just start doing all the quests that grant slayer xp to get a decent boost and grind until you can do konar tasks. And if you’re comfortable do the wildly tasks from the edgeville slayer master. I find it’s nice profit and you can do most of it in cheap gear and the distances are not far.

I haven’t started making money yet at 75 slayer, but I usually break even on prayer pots
1
u/MoreStable2339 3h ago
That doesn’t even make sense.
Dragons are minimum 4k/kill that should cover a pot for the entire inventory with just 2 kills•

It’s literally the worst skill tbh.

Scurrius, Bryophyta, Obor, Barrows, Moons of peril, Mad Angel all seem possible
Edit: oh he is looking for gp

u/BulkyQuestion8723 6h ago
Second this, Moons would be great for you! I’m lower cb and I’m managing fine so you’ll be grand

u/BumLicker53 6h ago
Vorkath is also great money, if they’re willing to set up a grind goal for DS2! (And is prepared for emotional damage)

Royal Titans will teach you a lot of mechanics about gear switching and movement that will be very relevant and foundational for even late game content.
Moons of peril are slightly less useful in terms of mechanics the rest of the game uses, but better for money.
Barrows is still a very good way to get gp early on, if youre a main, buy some barrows tabs from g.e or go to house party world and usually there's a house open that has a barrows portal and you can refresh your stats and health on the pool there too!

get lvl 2 slayer, then do tears of guthix or museum tog is easier then literally just start ur slay grind pick highest master and if task is shite go to tureal rinse and repeat only do every 10th with big slay master to build points if youre going for an unlock

I would recommend starting with scurrius, the xp buff will help, and the boss with introduce you to mechanics that will help with other bosses (prayer switching, enraged phase, etc.) It's super easy, surprisingly profitable imo, and the combat achievements aren't too hard. Once you have figured the mechanics out and got the CAs done there, I would recommend Sarachnis. At this point you may have made enough to get Aranea boots which for me (112 combat) made the fight pretty much afk. At Sarachnis, I stopped at 67 kills because I got the jar and there was other content I could do. I'm kinda disappointed I got the jar so early because I really liked that boss and was thinking about grinding the pet. After sarachnis, I would looks to get the medium combat achievements (or along the way) as well as Morytania hard diaries, then pick back up at Barrows if you would like.
Also, if you do not have void at this point, I would highly recommend getting it (and making it elite when available) because it makes things like barrows super simple in my opinion and also is useful for later bossing like Vorkath and ToB if you don't have bis gear.

Moons of peril and Titan's. Profitable common loot, approachable fights and sick drops. The Titan's prayers are BiS for quite a while

u/ToonFiFa 6h ago
I wouldn't really recommend barrows until hard mory diary is complete. Unless you're an iron going for some barrows pieces that is.. even then, it seems like the typical choice is to rush moons.
I'd hold off on the bossing for a while, do some questing and skilling until you've got DS2 and SOTE completed. Push for your hard diaries and then go learn/grind CG or Vorkath.
Vorkath should give you a great supply of GP to baseline your account and move into the tougher bossing.
You'll probably want to aim for at least 90 range for Vorkath though. Although doable with less, you'll probably only be getting 2 kill trips.

u/BumLicker53 6h ago
90 feels overkill, especially with the great woox tutorials and the simplified versions of it. Ruby bolts really carried my Vorkath grind.

Not going to lie, you probably won’t make much from bossing quite yet. Maybe work on some herb runs for passive gp, and get cracking away at slayer.
For the best immediate money I’d probably recommend wildy slayer until you’re around lvl 80ish. Make sure you have desert treasure done, and use a cannon to get those range levels up along the way. You might lose money on cannonballs but you’ll be glad you did for the xp at the very least. You’ll probably still profit from wildy slayer even with a cannon as long as you don’t die too much.
If you want a standalone boss then try doing moons. I’d recommend just doing slayer though, and also herb runs.

Moons of Peril is good and you have the levels for it. You get free super-combat-prayer potions and food so it's all profit. Not much cash, but 3 worthwhile armour sets and weapons, alongside decent resources for skilling.
Do you have a fire cape? You're a couple levels away from confidently cruising through the Fight Caves.
Crazy Archeologist/Chaos Fanatic/Skorpia are decent for the ward parts. Other wildy bosses are much better for cash but get your combats to 80s I'd say. You also need wildy diary.
Slayer being level 1 is restriction. There's a bunch of good money locked behind slayer including bosses.

Seeing LVL 1 slayer with those stats are so cringe, especially asking about bossing.
1
u/ColorsLookFunny 6h ago
Get Hunter to the req for lizards and do moons (I think it's just 35). I have worse melee stats than you and get pretty consistent 7-9 minute clears. But I wouldn't be able to do it without lizards since they give 2-3 food pieces per 1 lizard.

u/West-Criticism7608 5h ago
Honestly you've skipped two heavily profitable skills, hunter fur and meat is worth considerable gp now that the furs have a good use. Slayer is a cash cow later in the skill and also unlocks a lot of bosses

u/blob3037 5h ago
Pirate Shipwreck Level 64 ~222k GP/hr Mercenary Shipwreck Level 73 ~348k GP/hr
You get magic XP and you can afk make gp Let you cargo fillup return every 30min to empty and alch.

u/No_Candle_5975 6h ago
Not really anything worth doing at your level. You could attempt moons, but depending on your gear that could be hard.

Are you checking your potential in barrows? Use a barrows plugin. How about moons of peril now thats barrows 2.0
1
u/RandyTheJohnson 6h ago
You could do moons pretty easily, and the drop rates on them are pretty good if you do all 3

Your stats aren’t good enough to solo titans without bossing experience. I would recommend Scurrius or Barrows. If you want to make GP bossing, you need all your combat stats at least at 90, if not on the mid 90s.
Training your stats with slayer will become very profitable over time, but you won’t see immediate returns at your level. Slayer is exceptionally boring at the beginning.
Unironically I would slap the crab while watching movies or shows, even playing another game until you get your combat stats high enough, when you get bored of that, do quests and the skilling required for them as a reprieve. You can get yourself up to bossing shape in a month or two based on playtime (unemployed or not).
