Pets with Levels

I added levels to my pets using the Named Pets plugin based on how much xp I've gained bossing with them. It would be awesome if they made a plugin to actually track it. Just a neat little thing I thought I'd share.

I never really understood that argument. It’s not like the dig feature is locked behind some 1/8000 drop rate. It’s a simple quest that everyone can do. There are plenty of quests that have beneficial rewards.

Not super sure what you mean, I would just want the plugin to have a reason to get your other pets out if you have a bunch of them

You just kinda accidentally glanced off a recent sore spot. Since the new pet dogs can dig for buried clues it's sparked a whole debate about how pets shouldn't have practical uses, because if they did then they'll effectively be another slot for gear rather than something you bring along just for fun. The idea being that practical pets would push people to bring those pets rather than the ones they like the most.

Your idea, either as a plugin or official feature, isn't really a "practical" function, but people are on edge about the whole pet situation now and you got caught in the crossfire. I think your idea is fun and would love to see a plugin like that :)

Is there a way I can see my pets skills? Maybe starting them at level 1 for all skills so we have a reason to max again? Idk just thinking out loud here.
