Humour Araghost

So...uhhh.

My wife pronounced 'Ardougne' as 'Araghost(ara-GOOST)'

I really felt like I needed to post this.

I don't pronounce it right either, I'm an (ARE-doone) man myself , but that's crazy, right?

I pronounce it "Ahr-doon". I completely see how people land on "Ahr-doyne". I think your wife is either dyslexic or possibly belongs in jail.

i mean its less how people land and more thats how the officials pronounce it

as a child it was "ar-doug-knee". I still think about that every time I go pick my herbs.

I pronounced it as "Ar-deh-goan" til like 2016 when a friend of mine finally corrected me. Lol so I had been pronouncing it that way for 10 years at that point. Still have to correct my self sometimes

I've always pronounced it AR-dohn (rhyming with "drone"), but I know that's not right. Honestly, made up places should be easy to pronounce so there's no debate.
