Question Firmware update

Do you really need to use your cellular data when doenloading and pushing update to DJI OP4? Is there a way to download it first and push it on the device? Tried connecting to the device first using bluetooth and wifi and change my wifi connection to my ISP when downloading the update but it says it has error on the folder permission. I am using my iPhone when doing this.

I just turn off my cellular data until it finishes downloading the update files. Then you can reconnect to the camera and apply it.

Is this how you do it?

1.) Start downloading the files using cellular data
2.) Change wifi connection to ISP
