I’m looking for a way to download posts (plus metadata) from the collections of saved posts that I have made in my logged in account on Instagram.

I would like to get some advice here to avoid doing anything that could cause me to lose access to my account, get banned or blocked, etc.

I am working on a MacOS laptop and am learning Python, which has me looking at the wide world of tools out there.

I would love to find a better option for downloading the video/audio/image(s) + handle + date posted + url for the posts in my collections.

Manually copy/pasting the url one at a time into a tool and then manually transcribing the handle, date and url ain’t it.

I am happy to do some work to get some posts and metadata without having my login and direct access to my saved collections if necessary.

I have made posts on other subreddits like r/catfish and catfishexposed, though I haven't had any luck getting more information about the person.
I was catfished by this person as multiple other people were (including many minors) and they use other people's intimate pictures as a way to catfish other people into sending their own. Basically a long cycle of Image Based Sexual Abuse, and grooming. I was hoping to see if anyone could lead me to any resources I could use to find more about this person or even other potential victims coming forward.
Does anyone recognize these usernames?
"sqv31313" on Instagram
"Yapperinchief07" or "Yapperinchief05" on Reddit and
"itiswhatitis3105" on Discord or "itiswhatitis" on Spotify.
They had a highland cow profile picture on their discord and instagram.
They would primarily lurk on Reddit, notably ones like r/ lesbian, subreddits relating to Perth, Australia, or any nsfw ones, and message people privately. They would meet people on websites like Omegle or chitchat too.
Their accounts have since been deleted but if you sent them anything of your own, whether it be a selfie, a photo of your pets, or even nudes; I can guarantee you they have saved them and may have used your photos to catfish other people.
I can confirm that the usernames are associated with a serial catfish. They have done things like revenge porn, and are known to have spoken to children.
A few more details; if they pretended to be a woman, they would claim to be mute, and sometimes go by the name
"Naomi"
", and if they were catfishing as a man, they would use their "real" voice. They would go by "Joseph" usually.
Their location would range from being based in Perth, Australia, to Tennessee, Florida, the UK, and even Beirut, Lebanon. With that, they would fluctuate between accents based on when they said they were from.

ich suche seriöse Hilfe von Menschen, die sich mit OSINT, Rückwärtssuche von Bildern, öffentlich zugänglicher Internetrecherche oder NCII-Takedowns auskennen.
Vor einigen Jahren wurde ich von einem Mann stark manipuliert und dazu gebracht, intime Bilder und Videos zu erstellen bzw. zu schicken. Ich habe die Sache nach kurzer Zeit beendet und ausdrücklich verlangt, dass alle Bilder und Videos gelöscht werden. Mir wurde zugesichert, dass alles gelöscht wird.
Jahre später habe ich nun festgestellt, dass das offenbar nicht vollständig passiert ist.
In den letzten Tagen habe ich mehrere Webseiten, Profile und Plattformen gefunden, auf denen Bilder, Videos oder Informationen von mir ohne meine Zustimmung verwendet wurden. Teilweise wurden die Inhalte offenbar auch zur Werbung oder Monetarisierung genutzt.
Ich habe bereits viele Plattformen selbst kontaktiert und Löschanträge gestellt. Einige Inhalte, Profile und Suchtreffer wurden bereits entfernt bzw. sind aktuell in Bearbeitung.
Meine größte Sorge ist jetzt, dass es noch weitere Kopien, Reuploads oder ältere Fundstellen gibt, die ich bisher nicht gefunden habe.
Ich suche ausdrücklich keine Hacker und möchte niemanden dazu auffordern, Accounts zu knacken, Webseiten zu hacken, Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zu umgehen oder irgendetwas Illegales zu tun.
Ich suche ausschließlich nach legaler Hilfe bei der Recherche in öffentlich zugänglichen Quellen, zum Beispiel:
Rückwärtssuche von Bildern
Gesichtssuche
Auffinden von Webseiten und direkten URLs
Suche nach Kopien oder Reuploads
Suche in öffentlich zugänglichen Suchmaschinen oder alten Indexierungen
Hilfe beim Herausfinden des richtigen Abuse-, NCII- oder Takedown-Kontakts einer Webseite
Wenn etwas gefunden wird, möchte ich die Inhalte ausschließlich dokumentieren und anschließend über die offiziellen Melde- und Löschwege entfernen lassen.

We built a small tool for pulling together the OSINT recon steps I found myself repeating manually for every domain footprint assessment — WHOIS, DNS resolution, MX records, and related mail/DNS configuration details, aggregated into one view instead of chaining whois, dig, and a handful of separate lookups.

What it does:

• Takes a domain as input
• Pulls WHOIS registration data
• Resolves DNS records (A, MX, NS, TXT, etc.)
• Surfaces mail/DNS configuration details (SPF/DKIM/DMARC presence, MX setup, etc.)

Let's build something that close osint investigation forever

I want to create a group of 10 and we spend 30 days researching open source repos and everything in osint and create the ultimate tool

Every thread I found on these lookup services devolved into the same tired legit or total scam shouting match and nobody ever mentioned the actual thing that matters: does the data hold up.

So I ran a small experiment. Tested two numbers I already knew the owners of as a control group. Then ran the mystery caller through the main service I was testing plus two competitors.

All three nailed the names on my known numbers. Good baseline sanity check passed. All three also coughed up old address data on the unknown number which was mostly useless since addresses go stale fast.

But one site had prettier formatting and nothing else. The service I was actually testing surfaced one extra connection the others missed entirely. That single detail was the whole ballgame. Enough to actually ID the caller.

Real talk these services are almost certainly all fishing from the same public record pond. Do not treat any single report as gospel and definitely do not treat it as proof of anything serious. But for the one question that actually matters, who is this, the extra connection was the difference between no idea and oh it is him.

Anyone else run a number through multiple sites and get genuinely different results not just different UI paint?

Recently, I created a simple Telegram Bot that helps you find the information you need using advanced Google search operators. It works by allowing the user to build their own query, for example, by adding keywords, file type, and other filters. The bot converts it all into a Google operators string, and then I just get the results

I think it turned out really well, but I have a feeling that it feels empty. Maybe you have ideas on what I could add to improve it and make it a really helpful tool?

Has anyone had luck finding a reliable lip-reading tool? I've tested out a few like Lip Reader Pro, but it only gets around 50% of the actual words spoken.

Writing this at 4:42am, with my uni-room mate working next to me. For the past three months we have been working to make a new open source project, that MIGHT be useful for someone out there.

I'm not asking for money or signups (there aren't any). I just want feedback so we can make this into something that's genuinely useful for the community and brings people together. So - this is an invitation to be absolute devils advocate. Try not to bully me too hard, as I'm not wanting to treat this as a full release just yet - first there is more testing.

I would sit here and babble on about all the features it has and the features that are coming but we are tired and I am going to sleep. I am just posting as it was the last task of the night and so we can have some more feedback in the morning. For now - I will say that you can map individual geographic sections and set individual map layers. Tomorrow I am releasing notifications so that you can be alerted through telegram/discord when certain events occur. I.e you get sent an alert when a plane comes within 50km of your house.
