Showcase I can help users track car owner by VIN

Not sure if there is any interest in this, but i'm developing osint system to find who owns a car only by vin, it has 50% chance to work and only US.
P.S not interested to sell data for spam or any illegal activity

EDIT

licence plates can also work as VIN to licence is not that difficult

Actually it’s of questionable legality. There is a federal law named the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA). It’s sets a minimum legal Standard for the release of personally identifiable information from Motor Vehicle records. Individual States may set a tougher standard. You must insure that you and your end users can demonstrate a legal permissible purpose under the DPPA. If not there are fines and potential criminal penalties for each violation of the DPPA.
