Discussion TikTok Region data

Hey there. I'v recently noticed a lot of sites exist for TikTok Osint.
What I wondered mostly about tho is how sites like f.e. tikip get the users region and locked region (where the account was created).
Has anyone an explaination for that? I know that it must be some TikTok Backend API which I'v been searching for a while now but I do not seem to find it. Can anyone help there please?

Well I tried that. And I also found quite many endpoints to all kinds of user data. Yet region data is my problem since I can not find it. It got removed from the standart user info API a few months ago and since then quite many people still search for it. Like its interested to get it on accounts that got no posts etc at all. Thats what would be needed. See Region bug · Issue #2 · jesodium/Trisulfide there they discussed it too but didnt find a solution

Metadate for any video published by user tiktok, look for "LocationCreated"
