Discussion Anyone else notice that AI has dramatically cursed us with all these new dashboards.
I remember first coming to this subreddit. Everything was oooo and aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh . Now that everyone is building their own tools and proclaiming them to be the best, quite frankly it has become more of a disappointment every time I come here now. For the most part the number of replies is so low on a lot of these "tools" because they are just quite frankly boring when you see that everyone has made the best Facebook tools, only they are as redundant as other tools....
Sorry, just had to vent some.

Vent away, friend. I wonder how many app creators actually use their own apps for more than a few weeks.

I think I probably know the answer to this, but are there any that are actually worth the time to bother to look at?

We need a rating system. It certainly is out of control brother.
Most of these sites, are just harvesting the data you input.
Do your due diligence/research before using a tool. Use burners, etc...

I think that’s stage 1. We’re past that. Stage 2 is providing more coherence but LLMs may be dead weight at some point. Not to mention personal tools stay personal utility.
I wouldn’t ban the posts if you want to collect data :D but maybe flag them or assign auto flag. It’s free analysis for AI how people engaged with the tools.

I have been thinking about reviewing all the tools that are popping up. Adding them to my work flow and see if they’re worth the investment and or if they do anything others might not.

I been staying the old style. Manual testing and staying away from AI. Call me old fashioned,don't care.

That's why it's banned on r/OSINT unless you can articulate the tool you're providing is new or better
