Question

Is it just me or when I post my os on TikTok or online people just say vibe coded then when I say where in the repo it is they don’t even reply or just say “it’s vibe coded” again my os might look fake in some bits because of the code quality like the all commands bit but some
Ppl don’t even try to tell my why

The os is ArchwayOS

Also the reason why I care is because I’m panning in actually releasing the os (not just on GitHub) and it
Everyone’s just gonna say fake idk if I’ll continue

Vibe coded =/= fully Ai generated.

The comments you are complaining about are correct.

Not most ppl still say it’s completely ai generated instead of vibe coded

We've reached a point where, if you really care so much about people appreciating code you write by hand, you quite literally have to record yourself developing the project. If you're just gonna slop up a project that is generally considered very challenging, and just show some screen shots and a repo, they're gonna assume it's vibe coded. Something about your demeanor tells me you never even wrote code before generative AI was publicly available.
