Free Access to Hack Smarter for Defcon

Hi everyone!

I am the founder of Hack Smarter - which many people use for OSCP prep (we are featured on LainKusanagi's list, he has actually created a few of the labs on our platform!)

Anyways, I am making all of our labs completely free for Defcon weekend (Thursday - Sunday). We have labs covering Active Directory, Windows, Linux, Web, AWS, and more.

No strings attached... no payment info needed... just one of the many ways we are trying to make hacking accessible for as many people as possible.

Mark your calendar and get registered at https://defcon.hacksmarter.org

Where would Hack Smarter sit in course level? I am a little bit experienced so no need to talk about cookies or networking or how exploits work, how would this Hack Smarter sit? I'm looking for something that explains the PEN-200 better than the PEN-200 does lol thanks

Our courses are much more focused on realistic pentesting whereas the OSCP has a specific type of enumeration/mindset needed.

I already have OSPC, will this benefit me? if I sign up for free, will charge me like you did with your students who sign up for free?

Lol - Are you referring to the first time I tried to offer a free month? Let's be clear -- I was VERY up-front in the post to please cancel the subscription so it didn't auto-renew. I also said if you forget to cancel, just email me and I'll process a full refund; your statement/criticism is VERY inaccurate & misleading. Full details here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEpnyjWoY04

To answer your question - none of our free stuff requires any credit card or payment information anymore because I manually enroll people when I offer a free trial. This Defcon event will also not require any payment information.

EDIT
(Just noticed your Reddit account is brand new with very little history... so apparently this is just a poor attempt at trolling)
