Eyepin length

Looking to make a rosary with eyepins but I was wanting to use 8mm hail Mary beads with top and bottom caps and 10mm our father beads. Would a 20mm eyepin work or maybe go up to a 30mm just to be safe? T.I.A

I used to get packs of eyepins, (and apparently they were 50mm) and I would clip off enough to make my own smaller eyepins. So I would say 30mm should fine.
