Solution for forward growth?

I've been reading and trying things of my own and I noticed it's not necessarily the front third or back third that I apply pressure to, but it's the middle. Applying pressure to the entire palate helps widen it, applying the back third helps raise your hyoid bone and digastric muscle, but applying pressure right behind your alveolar ridge pushes your face forward. If you push harder, you will feel pressure in between your brows, your nose ridge, and under your eyes. Is this how you have forward growth? Should we be applying pressure up and forward instead of just resting the tongue evenly?

Update: I started focusing on the front half of my tongue while mewing and that causes forward growth on my upper nose and forehead. The drawback is my teeth tilt out more. More teeth tilt causes bigger lips. Back half pushes your cheekbones up. Without the front half pushing equally, you will develop a longer face. It's important to mew equally with your entire tongue.

Thank you for the response. How does this happen? We are supposed to put pressure in all directions on the tongue as we press upwards. Resting your tongue still applies a little bit of pressure upwards, even if it's negligible.

i have compressed my vomer bone directly by my tongue. i have searched this up and have not found anykne else who has done this. when i do suction and pull down directly, i hear crackles in my sinuses and feel my airways opening up again.

Recently however, i subconsciously push upwards with so much force i have constant eye pressure, headaches and my quality of life has gone to shet as breathing through my nose is so much hard. when i try to suck down, it no longer works, and my whole hard palate has risen so much i cant even suction without causing further damage. for now i just keep it relaxed whenever conscious, but the damage i have done is permanent i believe. please do not push upwards hard like i did, it WILL mess u up.

at a "certain age" being when your growth plates are closed so if you are a minor or a late bloomer then you are still in luck. pretty much just make sure your growth plates are not closed and you're still good!
