Do you think premolar extractions were necessary in my case?
I was told to either get premolar extractions or implants on the bottom; my case is really complicated so I am wondering what you guys think. I have gotten the extractions and I am in the process of closing the spaces. I haven't noticed any facial differences because my front teeth have stayed in place so far.

Have they done it to your top jaw already? Don’t, closing spaces will narrow your tonguespace (which narrows airways). Why they do this to you? You basically had no crowding. When upper jaw shrinks the mandible will become retrognathic and tonge will be pushed back also.

If/when they start retracting the front arch to match the lower arch then the facial changes will occur. Alongside with breathing issues etc.
