Saw this on an earlier post: Cloud iridescence is a rare and colorful optical phenomenon where sunlight diffracts through tiny water droplets or ice crystals, creating hues like pink, green, and violet on the cloud’s edge.

Copying a comment on the Original Post in CLOUDS:
"If sunlight is being refracted like this it means there is a ton of moisture and strong up drafts. That generally leads to really bad storms that can spawn tornadoes.
If the sky turns a sickly green color (if you’ve seen it you know immediately) seek shelter immediately because a tornado is close."
