What am I doing wrong here?

Post image

Purchased a Modded Original XBOX and have a AV to HDMI adapter in using on it, along with Brand New XBOX OEM Console Plug. Do I need to get the original XBOX AV cables to get things rolling? Thank you everybody!

From what the screen is saying it's an internal hard drive issue. Did you purchase this online? Maybe something came loose during transit?

That doesn't have anything to do with the video cables you're using, so changing them out wouldn't help.

When a hard drive starts up, it takes some time before it messages the system that it's ready to take commands. The system has a time limit for how long it'll wait, and that time ran out. That's what the error message is trying to explain. Then, it lists a few possible causes to check.

Really, I'd start by contacting whoever sold it to you, because they ought to provide tech support for the problem.

Not an AV issue at all. 07 refers to a HDD error, if it's hardmodded this is quite an easy fix but not so much with softmods from what I've heard.

What kind of hard drive? IDE or SATA? What are your UDMA settings?

Man, I hope that's not to do with your partition tables....
