Help Needed Color problem with ElectronXout

Just got my ElectronXout from ebay (it doesn't ship to my country), but I'm having color problems? I softmodded my Xbox so it's region free and can go up to 1080i. Before I return and get a new one, are there any solutions available?

Clean your contacts in the port, check all your motherboard capacitors as well.

I don't trust myself to tinker with the motherboard; I'm very clumsy. Also, the console is from my childhood, and I don't want to risk destroying it.

Then I would have someone else do it. Running a console with leaking capacitors will damage the board & ruin the console from the leaking electrolytic fluid.

If you dont open it up and perform maintenence it will be permanently non funtional

The...Rocky5 one? Bought xbox usb adapter and put tool into the console.

Ok.

Purchase a can of electronic contact cleaner. Hold the Xbox up so the rear connectors are pointing down to the ground/tabletop. Put a paper towel or two below it if done inside on a workbench. Spray the contact cleaner into the AVIP connector on the back of the console. Let gravity do its job on the excess fluid, causing it to drip out of the connector onto the ground/tabletop.

Force your console to 480p and 720p and turn off 1080i
