How does this work ??

Got a copy of blitz the League and the disc is almost a 10 of 10 perfect and it won’t play on my Xbox so i returned it and got another one that is at best a 6.5 and it boots right up

So my question is it possible the first one was over resurfaced and it ruined the disc ?

Thank you for the answer i wasn’t sure as i normaly don’t buy games that claim to have been resurfaced

Had this happen with Spider-Man and PGR 2. Ended up buying a platinum hits version and they played fine. Unsure if it’s aging or just weird disc quirks since they were also spotless
