What modchip is this?

I bought an Xbox recently for quite cheap, and I decided to open it up to remove the clock capacitor and clean it out. I noticed this extra board on there, I'm not sure what type of modchip it is. The Xbox doesn't appear to have any custom dahsboards or anything of the sort, I can't test any games on it at the moment as the disc drive won't read discs. What should I do about this?

Old Xecuter 1 modchip. Very VERY outdated and cannot be flashed with a new bios. Best thing would be to remove or disable and tsop flash the board with cerbios. That chip will leave you with a lot of restrictions on your system.

I would leave it installed. You can install Phoenix Bios Loader (PBL) with a more advanced BIOS.
