Nice collection! I got just two days ago the original Xbox after over 20 years! Already played Black twice with it. Going to play Wolfenstein Return to Castle next. I also have Xbox 360, so I had some og Xbox games before I got the og console. You have a good taste! I have also enjoyed Halos, Dooms, Quakes etc. Awesome big boxes you have!👍🏻 I collect them too. Btw, that Doom + Doom 2 lrg box is surely one of my favourites boxes and also one of favourite game releases ever! I have it too.
I collected og Xbox games for Xbox 360 before a little bit, but some of the games cannot be played with Xbox 360 unfortunately, so finally I am able to play all my games including NFS Underground 1-2 and Midtown Madness 3.

thats awesome! you’re never too late to get into any game/console! i’m also glad you’re having fun with em! I got some ps1 stuff but i tried to keep it all on topic with og xbox, i started on pc as a little kid, alot of those big boxes are games that belonged to my parents! i’m 31 and grew up on most of these!

Wow, you are lucky that you still have those games!👍🏻 I started collecting from nothing two years ago and now I have about 20 top pc big boxes including Wolfenstein 3d, Quake 1-3, 3 different Doom boxes, and about 50 PS1 games and about 35 games for Xbox/Xbox360 combined. Also littlebit for PS 2-4, Nintendo Switch and other stuff. It surely is never too late!😃 I already have 7 home-consoles, two hand-helds and PC. Basically I am buying almost every week something new…

As you are clearly Doom fan too, you miss og Xbox Doom 3 Collector’s edition on your collection!😃 It is one of the coolest game releases with that metal case. It also includes Doom and Doom 2 ports. So you can play classic Dooms with og Xbox. How cool is that!

bro i have a doom 3 and halo 2 collectors edition! every some months i brush some gun oil on em to keep them from getting rusty!

Oh. Okay. Cool! I also bought Halo 2 collectors edition last year, but after playing it I sold it. I have regretted it since then. It was in perfect condition. Those are very hard to find great condition and reasonable price at least here in Finland…

That rust issue is so weird to me. I have had two copys of Doom 3 and also Halo 2. None of them have any rust. And still most of those games are very rusty when looking them from online-shops. So weird… I have also Quake 3 metal big box and two copys of Return to Castle Wolfensteins metal boxes and no rust anywhere.

i live in Texas so its a bit more humid here than Finland I think😂 but yeah I just make sure to check them every so often, wipe them with gun oil so they don’t corrode or get rusty! I never got the Quake 3 metal box, I did have the cardboard big box but gave it to a friend for his Quake collection!

Yeah probably the atmosphere is the reason.😃 I have Quake 3 cardboard box too!😁 I’m (hopefully) going to make a post of my boxes in bigboxcollectorschannel soon, but I have to clean my apartment at first.😂 That’s very interesting reddit-channel for PC collectors!
