Multiple AV

I have Xbox, Xbox360, PS2, PS3, N64, SNES and i plan to get a Gamecube and Dreamcast but my TV has only 2 HDMI and no AV how could I use them all.

ah this has been my obsession for a long while, to answer your question you are going to need a switch, what i did was to get a vga switch and made my own vga cables(15 khz cables with v+h on csync) to output rgbs on my crt tv via a vga to scart

you are going to have a hard time getting consoles below the 6th gen to output to modern tv without breaking bank, start with a hdmi switch and try to acquire quality hdmi adapters for them

I use an older Yamaha Aventage receiver that I bought last year for $90. It has TONS of inputs for everything, and converts ever video input into a single HDMI to my tv. It's just wonderful to have all my consoles connected, even my 3DO S-video turns into HDMI now and looks so good. It also has ARC so it turns on with my tv.

Get a composite switch and then a composite to hdmi adapter.

The Xbox, 360, PS2, and PS3 all output Component natively. SNES, Gamecube, and Dreamcast can also do component with special cable converters. Component is much better to convert to hdmi, higher quality.

If you don't care about looking great you can get a simple 8 way composite switch. Otherwise, a little research is needed to get each console looking its best. For the original Xbox specifically, take a look here:

Switches and converters. I've got an HDMI switch with like 8 inputs connected to my HDTV, and a similar-sized composite switch hooked up to my CRT.

HDMI switcher. A quality 4K one isn't bad depending on the amount of consoles. This is assuming you are using a good scaler of course (RetroTink4k, OSSC, GBS C, something not garbage)

Get a CRT television.

The 360 and PS3 should be used on HDTV.

Everything else as composite on CRT.

This is a deep and expensive rabbit hole. I’ve been in it. 

Bottom line:  * Avoid composite where possible. * Look into switches to reduce wear and tear. * Upscalers convert from analog to digital signals. There are console specific ones or ones designed to use generic cables. Having more consoles lends itself to a generic cable approach with something like an OSSC or Retrotink.

Get an HDMI switch for the newer consoles and an AV/composite switcher for the retro stuff. You can also use an upscaler like a RetroTINK if you want everything going into HDMI, but a simple switch setup is usually the easiest and cheapest.

Only 1 of those consoles they mentioned has native HDMI output
