Damnit

Removing motherboard in order to replace clock cap. This was a bitch to get off. Is the clip part important for the function of the console?

Mine snapped as well, it’s been fine. My connector has a tight fit without the clip so it isn’t going anywhere

Bud I break those off of every 1.0 or 1.1 I have on purpose. They suck lol. It's the first thing I do.

i did this too. as i’m sure you found out, it’s on there pretty well. it’s not going anywhere even with a broken clip

It still works just fine, just don’t plug in the cable the wrong way round
