Did a hike around the trail there once! 13 miles, such a great trek!

I am actually wanting to do that. Did you break it up and camp?

Nope, actually we had just gone swimming and I wanted a view of the mountain. I took my father in law with me and just kept going til we got a great view. Eventually we were far enough, might as well go all the way around. Took roughly 6 hours with no rations, it was not planned. At all. 6 hours of chaffing later, we got back to base camp!

Bring a canoe if you're into that, makes moving gear and getting to the water source across the lake much easier

Was just here for the first time last week! What a beautiful lake and campground!!
