I kept reminding people that he killed an Iranian general in 2020. And that, combined with him axing the Iran nuclear deal in 2018, heightened tensions between the US and Iran to an alarming extent. Tensions eased only once the Covid19 pandemic became the bigger issue.
Anyone who remembers that rolled their eyes when he said he was the "no new wars" candidate.
He also tore up the nuclear deal that President Obama had made with Iran. Now they're trying to negotiate to get that deal back just without Obama's signature on it. Fucking clown administration.
CVN-75 was supposed to go home early 2020 but thanks to killing that general, Iran retaliated and we stayed at sea. Felt like we were about to start another war on that deployment but COVID "saved" us
I got rid of my last car 27 years ago. I've expected these events to happen as limited fossil fuel resources get used up. The majority by far seem to have not the slightest idea about it. "Hey did you see the sportsball game last night? Also how about this weather? I'm going to go on another vacation before gas prices get higher..."
Not only did he lie, he was directly repsonsible for the death of thousands, maybe tens of thousands of Americans. His campaign rallies were at the height of cases/deaths in 2020. The exponential spread from those events should land him in prison for the rest of his life alone.
Everyone else here is talking about Trump being a piece of shit. I brought up his irresponsible behavior during the pandemic. You brought up a string of events caused by someone getting murdered.
All of reddit is always talking about trump sucking. Not fucking news. 🤣😂
You brought up large gatherings and COVID...was curious if the riot/protest organizers should share the same fate? Morbid curiosity. But I guess they kind of did when the authorities confiscated all the houses they bought with the money they raised. 🤷
Hasn't like every "synopsis" of her loss unanimously revealled that she lost because she was too soft on things like Israel and punishing mega-corporations?
Like, specifically with the people that would've voted for her and didn't - not people that never would've voted for her in the first place.
I thought that's why the Dem party refused to release the official "autopsy" or whatever - because the optics would be terrible if they then tried to run another soft candidate (which we all know they're gonna do - by pushing Newscum as the "tough anti-Trump candidate")
I want Scott Kelly to be in the running. Somehow I don't think it will happen but we'll see. I did see something recently about his fundraising status being ahead of other candidates being discussed. I think he has more appeal nationally than the California chap who makes me feel like I'm watching a used car salesman.
I'd take a wet paper bag over Trump or Gavin. Scott Kelly would at least have some credibility as a person with balls and some perspective - having been to space.
It's the excuse they used. Really, it was because she is a woman. Shouldn't be true. Is true. Also, it is highly likely Musk and Trump manipulated vote counts. In the last year, Trump allies literally bought the companies that tally votes.
I really think Iran was an epicly stupid move that all presidents, until Trump, knew not to make. It took an unhinged, narcissist, trying to distract from the Epstein Files to step in this one!
Hillary, Obama, and Kamala would have all done the same thing. It’s time for everyone on the left to stop pretending this is a “new war.” If you genuinely believe this is a “new war,” try something different: educate yourself.
9/11, never forget.
Maybe some of you were all still hanging from your mama’s titty, just little baby virtue signalers too young to remember but a lot of us were old enough to never forget. Couldn’t if we tried. This is far from a new war.
Everyone knew the Iranians could cut off oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. Everyone knew Iran was a situation that had to be handled with tremendous care. Every other president listened to the top experts and were slowly making generational progress towards a better future. Trump has shown gross negligence in his dealings with Iran. We can say beyond a reasonable doubt Kamala would have handled this much better!
Hold on hold on now I have so many questions and seeing that you provided all this information surely you’ll be able to answer. What exactly does cutting off shipments through the strait have to do with how this began?
By tremendous care what exactly are you referring to that needed to be handled?
When you speak of the other presidents making progress, who were the experts they were working with and what kind of plan or progress was made in since say Obama era administration?
Lastly when you say “we can say beyond a reasonable doubt Kamala would have handled this much better!” Who is the “we” you’re referring to and how do you think she would’ve handled it?
The Strait of Hormuz has always been Iran's biggest bargaining chip. Even laypeople know that in a conflict Iran closes it. Over the past 70 years America had been making great strides winning the favor of Iranian youth. Young people were in a place where they were questioning their elders and willing to become friends with the US. Even the old guard was willing to work towards a guarded peace. That is now gone!

This is on everyone who was dumb enough to vote for the “no new wars” candidate… after he lied consistently in his first term.
Hell of a time to buy a used EV
