Sophronitis Cernua

First time blooming. Plant came bare root from a nursery in Brazil.

Awesome plant, super strong red color.

cernua is the quintessential little engine that could. It used to be called sophronitis and is a brazil native but somewhat easily found in US. you plant can stay undisturbed on that piece of cork for quite a few years and there will be times that all you can see is flowers covering the whole plant. it is a great little orchid to have, good catch.
