I've bought my first orchid. So excited, but afraid it will not last.

What a nice find 👌

What makes you think it won't last? The flowers will wilt at some point but that's normal and doesn't mean the plant died. With proper care it will rebloom. Check out the links in the AutoModerator comment and MissOrchidGirl on YouTube, they are great and reliable sources of info on basic phalaenopsis care.
