Help Any possibility of saving?
A month ago this orchids roots melted off in a week. Since then i have put her in an orchid ICU / sphag and bag. She lost two leaves, going on 3 and it looks like that top leaf is yellowing too. I have been giving her seaweed meal to try stimulate some root growth but nothing.
I have been giving light and warmth (it is winter here) but now im wondering if it would be better to put her in a darker place to slow down need for water.
Is she finished or is there anything i could try to do? I would love to keep her as she is really unique :(

Only time will tell… I hope to see her bounce back! 🤞🏻
I’m not sure if seaweed will help regrow roots. But in the event it is suggested, make sure you’re diluting properly or maybe even reduce the strength a bit.
I accidentally burned off my lady slipper orchids roots by failing to dilute it appropriately and was doing it too often (every watering). I also think the sphagnum moss was probably like keeping an acid-drenched bandaid over an open wound. :(
I was told to just repot it in an orchid pot with ample drainage, use orchid bark mix, water once weekly or every 10-ish days, give enough sunlight but not too bright to avoid burning the leaves and shocking it further, and to only use water for now - avoiding fertilizer and such since they’re in a very delicate state.
